Another night! It all started when I was on my period. My nipples got really sore. Now ds has a lazy latch. It so painful. I clench every time I have to feed him. I wasn't in this much pain even when he was a newborn. He's got 8 teeth and they've sharp! He's also biting down after falling asleep. I just want to cry thinking about having to feed him multiple times tonight. I just tried a bottle but he's playing with it.

I am sorry. could you take a break and just pump until youre healed? Will he never take a bottle or just not right now?

I've been in the same position where the thought of feeding my child made me want to throw up it was so excruciating. I'll never allow myself to go there again, its not mentally nor physically healthy. In my case I pumped until I healed and introduced a nipple shield.

Oh Momma, you poor thing. AF coming back really sucks. Did you get a supply dip? I know I do and it makes nursing more frequent and my nipples so sore. Try some oatmeal to help replentish your supply. If your baby's latch is getting lazy, take the breast away and only offer when he gets a good latch. At night remove the boob from his mouth when he falls asleep so you can avoid getting chomped on. My son also is a night biter. It is terrible. Hope things improve fast for you.
