Re: Toddler Meal Planning
I haven't done this week's plan yet. We received our first CSA box on Tuesday so that's thrown me for a loop a bit because my shopping is now supplemental to our box.
We've also been battling a nasty infection plus the allergic reaction to the antibiotics, complete with hives. I've been on DS as an escape and not as a planning Mommy ![]() I personally will probably be reverting to the Week 1 plan this week but hope to post an alternative if time allows. Holly, is the Bear eating? Have you tried other nut butters than peanut? I think I may go there next with experimenting, we haven't intro'd nuts but I was checking out the aisle the other day and with almond butter, cashew butter, and other seed butters there seem to be a lot of possibility.

Re: Toddler Meal Planning
I wish I was this organized! I have a tough toddler, she wont eat any veggies or most meats, and she is allergic to peanuts and milk. Makes it more challenging. I would add that firm tofu pieces baked in the toaster oven are a family favorite. I like the suggestion of lightly brushing with honey after cooking! Its amazing how kids wont try anything green but they will try any sort of candy you put in front of them.

Re: Toddler Meal Planning
Turkey , cheese, goldfish and blueberries. I've found that she eats more if I let her play and eat when she wants to.

I failed again this week. Ear infections killed me and some life stuff. I hope to resume next week. Have you tried quesadillas? I cut them into strips and he will take bites, that has been a new "win"

Re: Toddler Meal Planning
Today is the first day since Thursday that she's been interested in much other than pretzels. She had a stomach bug Thursday and rolled straight into a nasty cold Sunday. I've been pushing liquids and today she was interested in real food.

"I think most toddlers love variety and to have things sorted. I just got really tired of standing in my kitchen every day and trying to decide on the spot what variety he was going to have today."
Um, yeah that's pretty much what I do. You are a goddess among women. Last edited by chewie; 03-20-2013 at 08:09 PM. |
