No carbs. Only fruit and veggies. Or a full glass of prune juice. A stool softener at night before bed (every night) always worked for me.

Re: Poop
coffee, tons of fruit and tons of water. also walking usually helps get things moving. Either on a treadmill where you know the bathroom is nearby or around and around your block.
that's all I've got. Good luck!

Stool softener and high fiber foods but esp. The stool softener.
My ob said taking as many as three colace/dulclax a day was fine. Also, don't hold it. Go as soon as you have the urge. The longer you hold it in the more water is absorbed into the body and the harder/more painful it will get. And exercise will increase the activity of the gut too. Fast walking for a few minutes before will do it. |

Re: Poop
Having been on zofran my whole pregnancy I understand this problem well. Colace and metamucil are my weapons of choice.

Re: Poop
I started taking a magnesium supplement for the 1st trimester headaches and it has the wonderful side effect of making me very regular.

Re: Poop
Some great ideas the ladies have
![]() What works for me is eating peaches and pears!!! I will open a can of peaches (in the juice, not syrup) and eat the whole can and I will be able to poop!
