Who still has a baby shower coming up?

I had my work baby shower last Friday and my family shower is on March 2nd. I haven't really bought much of anything because I wanted to wait until after my showers but it is starting to feel like it is taking forever.

Anyone else on the same boat?

I have a shower on the 3rd. Due date is on the 9th. YIKES!!

The good thing is, I already have most everything I need for the newborn stage... so if he comes early, he won't go naked & without a place to sleep.

I have a shower tomorrow (at 37wks and change) but...this is kid #4 and I do have most everything I need, other than clothing, which I gave away a couple of months before finding out I was expecting. The shower is more of an excuse to have a party with my friends, I think. (I had one with baby #1, 9 years ago, and haven't had one since....this is our last kid, so we figured one final "hurrah!" would be fun. Anything for a party.)

My shower was scheduled for 39w1d, but now we are considering scheduling the rcs for 39weeks, lol. Don't think it is going to work out...

And like the pp, this "shower" is just an excuse to get together--a celebratory lunch with my girlfriends. It is my 3rd son in 3.5 years. Though I gave all my infant stuff away, I've collected everything I was lacking throughout the pregnancy. Outside of a few filler items and figuring out what body products I want to use, we are pretty set.

Mine is scheduled for the 5th of next month. It was originally planned for the 26th of this month, but it is a co-baby shower with a friend and her work changed her schedule on her so she is going to be traveling locally most of that week. She didn't want the stress of trying to make it home in time for the shower.
I am due around the 20th of next month, but with my BP creaping up we are going to start some natural induction stuff on the 2nd.

I had one already, but my family wants to do one after baby is born. Being the first girl after three boys, all the baby gets at showers is frilly pink clothes, so I just count on that and will (have been) buy(ing) all the stuff we actually need!

My mom and dad are coming the 22 and my mom and sister are throwing a "come meet the baby" shower. They asked that no one bring any gifts at my request but suggested to guest if wish they can bring a freezer meal for the family. Date is the 23rd-both husbands and wives are coming-guest list is at 40-should be fun!
