This is me. I am still tempted though, I would be more apt to try them for $20. I am waiting to see how much I like the Flip flats to see if I get a few more of those or maybe try a BGE. We are loving our padfolded flats w/ covers and they are much cheaper. I liked the old style BGE once the insert was detached on one end but, didnt like how easily they got holes

If they have wonderful reviews and become available with aplix...I might buy a couple for the diaper bag. Otherwise, I'm not interested. I'm actually sort of glad that I can't buy the old style elementals now...it makes it really easy to stick a cheaper stash

I've got a few more weeks to keep trying ours to decide whether to keep it or not. I'm on the fence for a few reasons.

#1 is the price - I rarely pay retail for diapers, especially one that seems so overpriced. I've wanted to find an AIO that we love but I'm incredibly picky about drying time and fit. I'm also wary of natural fibers without a stay-dry layer because DD gets rashy with any moisture against her skin.

I like this diaper as a flip alternative because I don't like 2 part systems. It's trim, no excess absorbancy (but I could add more if we needed it), dries fast, and fits like a BG. I'll give it a little more time, but I will probably take this diaper back because of the price and wait for some sales.

I definitely like how trim they look. We have had some bunching issues with the way the old soaker was attached so I'd really like to get my hands on some to try out

Well I am totally bummed by these, but there aren't a lot of natural fiber AIOs. If Simplex OS would get rid of their fleece that would be perfect. We use mostly fitteds, but its nice to have a few AIOs. Neither one of my boys fits into the rise of the current BGE so, we may have to try but I really dislike the PUL. I was so hoping for an elemental freetime.

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and just buy a 24 pack. With the 5% off that works to be $19.63 per diaper. I'm sure there will be something I dont like about them but that has been the case with every diaper I have tried and I'm tired of trying. As long as it doesn't leak then it will do.
Like pp said, there isnt much on the market in the way of natural fiber aios.

I don't blame you for wanting to just buy them and be done. Especially since you already like Flips, I bet you probably will like them.

You know that you don't have to use the fleece in the Simplex, right? Tell me why you don't like it. I thought these looked great, but I haven't actually used them on a baby. Does it make it leak? Or do you not want to have the synthetics in there at all?

That is what I am thinking too. Aplix would be nice but I dont think I'll find an aplix aio that I like. The new elementals seem like they'll wash and dry pretty easy
and I'm sure they'll be absorbent and trim. So I can look past the lack of aplix.
