HB vs LB Booster

Provided the seatbelt fits the kid properly, is there a safety difference between a high-back and low-back booster? My oldest is almost 7 and extremely tall--almost 4' 9" already. Right now he rides in a Frontier in my car and Britax Parkway in DH's. Even though he is so tall, he still fits in both of these boosters. I'm starting to toy with 3 across scenarios and I think it would be much easier with a low-back booster, but I like having him in the HBB. He still falls asleep in the car fairly often, if we are driving around bedtime or after a busy day.

If he falls asleep frequently, a HBB is probably the better choice. It will help keep him in position even when asleep.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks!
