Blueberry trainers - is sizing inconsistent? Do they shrink?

I just got my first order of Blueberry trainers in fluff mail (is it still fluff mail if you are PL'ing? )

Although I ordered both in size small, brand new - one pair looks significantly larger than the other - l/2-1" wider. Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone know if they shrink when pre-washed?

Trying to decide whether to return the one that looks so much larger since DD is a tiny wisp - or wash and hope for the best.
