Angry Not impressed at all......what would you do?????

Ok, so I bought a custom diaper off of someone and I am SO. NOT. IMPRESSED.

It took her much longer than expected to make and ship.

at one point she said "it's made, it just needs snaps tomorrow" and then like 2 weeks later I hadn't heard anything so I asked. She said she thought it had already shipped. She Then shipped it about a week after that


The serging is pretty awful....completely hanging off at most points. Also the elastic on the back is not encased... AT ALL. Or even SEWN IN the diaper. I can lift up the flopping fabric and see the elastic.


I'm quite upset.....

That does look pretty bad! I would contact her with your concerns and ask for a refund. Did you get it through Etsy or something similar? There is often a way to file a complaint or a dispute through those sites if you don't feel like she is being helpful. Also if you paid via paypal you can file a complaint through them within a certain number of days (45 days maybe?). It's terrible that this happened, I feel like people like this ruin it for other people who run their own business. Hopefully something can be resolved!

Yes!!! You should definitely expect a better quality product (one that meets or exceeds the quality of the name brands that are available) and certainly better customer service as well.

I have lots of mama made diapers and I've never had a problem like this......

I bought it through here, through PP......I should have known, she had 0 FB before, but her stuff looked nice. Now she has only 1 FB and it's a neg....*sigh*

I *almost* feel bad because it was custom just for me.....but c'mon.....I wouldn't even have been upset about how long it took if it was awesome, you know? lol

I'd contact her but also check the paypal timeline for disputes. If she was slow at returning messages before then you don't want her to be slow again and then be over the allowed time to file with paypal.

I agree! A good custom diaper would be worth a wait and some customer service blips
