I love the accountability threads and since I didn't see one started yet I thought I would go ahead. Is anyone up for a Feb spending accountability thread? Track your spending through the month (not including regular bills).

I am tracking all spending including gas and groceries. I will leave out regular bills.

1. $435 monthly costco, $10 lunch at costco, $18 amazon (pull ups)
2. $40 eating out, $35 Marshall's (sheets, egg platter)
3. $28 amazon (boon animal storage bag), $42 gas, $100 costco (pillows/blanket), $80 dh super bowl party ticket
4. $0
5. $0
6. $0
7. $7 Toys r us (movie, movie preorder, toy for dd, and toy for ds), $595 park district registration for spring and summer classes, $15 watch battery
8. $215 grocery, $32 wood stain, $21 pizza dinner
9. $55 night stand, $17 joann fabrics (felt and spray adhesive)
10. $0
11. $5 post office, $30 home depot paint supplies, swim classes
12. $4.50 school fees (headphones) and $7 school shirt

14. $30 Haircuts dh and DS, McD's $13, Lego $6, grocery $45, swim goggles $13
15. $1 groupon, $115 gymboree

Woohoo!

1. Kids: Camp $320 (budgeted out of tax refund)
2. 0 - surgery yesterday, recovering today - cooked enough this week that DH can just pull stuff out and not have to order food!
3. Grocery: CSA Share $750 (Tax return: this is essentially, other than bananas and some fruit in the winter, ALL of our produce for the year), Grocery (drugstore.com) $30 - laundry detergent, soap, cleaning products, etc - free shipping AND $25 restaurants.com gc (still recovering, this seemed like the best way to get what I needed without going out), Utilitiles: $330 (no clue why this is so high - we made some changes, including getting a leaking shower fixed this month to try to lower it)
4. Grocery (CVS) $8, Eating out (post-funeral for DH's grandfather) $50, Gas $60
5. Grocery: $60, Walmart (valentines, tee shirt for school to paint, pjs pants for me) $35
6. Grocery: $38
7. Kids: New piano books (yay my kid is doing great... but the last books only lasted 6 months... )$25

I'm counting our costco trip from the other day in February since it count towards our feb. budget. dh went a little crazy at costco and didn't leave us much room for more groceries the rest of this month so we'll see how it goes. He keeps reminding me that about $60 of it doesn't count towards groceries though since it was shoes and socks. Then we spent about $10 on lunch while we were there.

Today I spent $18 on pull ups for the kids (for nighttime). I bought them on amazon though and had quite a bit of credit.

1. $6 in eggs from school's chickens which actually lay jumbo sized eggs! and 39 in gas.

WooHoo, I'm in! We do not need to buy ANYTHING.. not even groceries if I can make things last. Hoping to only spend $100 in groceries MAX. We'll see.

Wow, what an eye opener so far to see that I'm HORRIBLE with my spending!! NO MORE!! Banning myself from spending! Selling only!
