Diaper Swappers

So I realize this board is mostly sellers, but I'm a buyer and I need to vent a little.

I've been diligently researching and building my stash through the FSOT. I ordered a whole bunch of stuff, about $250 total, from several different sellers. Imagine my horror today when the shipping notifications came and they're all going to an address I haven't lived at for 10 years!!!

I used the PayPal mobile app and it defaulted to that address. I am so mad at myself. I wrote a snail mail letter to the address explaining the situation and asking him to hold onto the packages for me. I couldn't get a telephone number online, but did find some info that says a 33 year old man lives there now. So hopefully he'll have no desire to steal my cloth diapers! Ha. All I can do now is wait!

Contact the post office they will be going through. Give them your name, old address, and tell them how many packages you will be receiving and they should be able to hold them there for you or either return them to the sender. Also, keep a check the dc#s and see if they give an estimated delivery date and give that to the post office. Hope all this info helps.

Oh my gosh you're a lifesaver! I just called and they're going to hold them for me. Thank you so so much!!

I have done this before once. I wound up going and knocking on the persons door and was like "you are probably going to think I am crazy but I used to live here and..." and she goes "you had a package sent here on accident?" I was like "YES!!" I felt like a total weirdo but luckily I was still close enough to stop by lol.

NO JOKE. My paypal app did this too me also. Fortunately it was only one package and the old house is still MY house. We just have renters. I still have to wait for them to forward though...

We definitely did this right after we bought our house. The pp site defaulted to our old address and I didn't notice. Luckily we only moved a few miles away and our old landlord was kind enough to bring it over to us.

Whew, it all ended up just fine

. The post office was awesome about it, they called to let me know the packages where there and let me pick them up at the sorting facility at 6 pm on a Saturday. Super nice of them!
