We have a ninja pulse and I love for many other things except smoothies.

I just bought a kitchen aid blender at target last week and I'm in love. Seriously in love.

We have a Vitamix here as well. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I crumble cheese in it now, too, since my tiny food processor died.

Re: Calling all smoothie makers

We just purchased a juicer and we are so into it right now! This morning I made one with apple, sweet potato and kale, and didn't have to cut or peel a darn thing! Our 1 year old loved it, and tonight he loved the carrot/apple/beet juice we made before bed. the juicer was expensive, but worth it compared to all the veggies my son usually throws on the floor without eating.

This is a great idea! I might give my cheapo blender a break!

Another vote for Vitamix! It really is the only appliance in the house I use at least once every single day. We planned and researched and considered for two years before finally buying one (at Costco), and we have no regrets. It really is fantastic.

Blendtec here. I liked it better than the Vitamix, but the Vitamix is a close second.
