Lots of UFO's! Was waiting on some buttons to finish most of these .

FO 0-6 month sleep sack front very, very, modified Owl sleep bag pattern:

5 UFO's, and one new (the rainbow one is this month) Newborn wool wraps front, modified Little Seedling pattern:


Newborn wool wraps back:


These above projects were what I did to keep motivated during my long, boring, TAKING FOREVER, shawl, that I started on my birthday in Jan., but I it to pieces! Happy very belated birthday to me

I sweated the end of this shawl thinking I didn't have enough yarn to finish, but I just barely did


And Finished just today!!! Modified Aspen Leaf Shawl pattern. It's a cross between that one and a meditation shawl. I am wearing it unblocked and unwashed as of this minute, and just in time for the last bit of winter weather (I hope!).

This is on a queen size bed for size.

A terrible photo, but this is an attempt at a trainer from a blog tutorial I read, it was super easy but I'm not in love, let's just say that I'm glad all I used was an unloved PUL color and gerber prefold.... the other item is a pair of leggins for dollies ... I made them out of upcycled sleeves from a t-shirt of DD's, it was one of those shirts that has phoney long sleeves sewn on into the edge of a short sleeve shirt....



And these I just ADORE on ... they are ever so slightly uneven but I realize I am being a perfectionist.... these are Harry Potter inspired pants, too short to be longies and too long to be shorties soooo. Capriies??

I'm halfway in love. I've fussed with it a long time to figure out the right size straps and then the buttons and then eyes and then well you get the picture. I couldn't call it a FO if I was still frogging and fiddling with it, but I've finally got it to a place I'm happy leaving it! Now if only I will have a girl or somebody has a girl I can gift it to....

^^ That's a statement I was always making about knitting. I'm not gifted at all! I am determined or stubborn, it could go either way . I really, really wanted knitted stuff and couldn't afford it unless I made it. So, I taught myself how to knit using tutorials on youtube and books from the library and everything went along fine until I got to purling. Let me tell you, I was purling wrong for a year and felt like a total failure because it didn't look right and my poor dyslexic mind couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong! That's not gifted that's ummm special maybe? :/.... Once I figured out what I was doing wrong (more hours spent on youtube) and combine that with a freezing sewing room and voila you have a gift!

What I'm trying to say is you can be gifted to, don't let thinking you can't do something stand in the way of finding out you can. You are very talented and you can do it to!

Oh, I LOVE the Harry Potter pants! They could be just about anything if you think about it, super hero, Lightning McQueen pants, Buzz Lightyear pants.... anything your LO can dream up for lighting bolts !

Here it is! Finally finished it the other day. It's been on the needles since Dec. I might add a back pocket but not sure yet and he's over at his grandparents for the day so I can't try it on him to mark where the back pocket should be. I made this pocket big enough for a car because I know that's what's going to go in there.
