What do you all think of the new Softbums Calendar Bums?

We are just TTC, and admittedly, Softbums doesn't fit my idea of the perfect diaper for a couple of reasons, yet, I am still drawn to the idea of the Omni. Front fastening diapers were not my favorite on my older kids, and encased elastic ALWAYS wicked through the stitches. But, I love the idea of the Omni's adjustable elastic and pocket option. Therefore, I like to see the new Calendar Bums each month. I have been at several lately though. First, the Safari print in a few different colors. Now, the same Owls print in another color....I am not crazy about the print to begin with and certainly wouldn't want it in several colors. Last month's Firecracker was a good move. Those were going for WAY too much used, but I think they should just make it a regularly stocked color. I mean red PUL is pretty common.

What do you think about this month's print?

My only gripe with SoftBums has always been the color/print palette, haha. I've never loved any of the Calendar Bums or their regular palette. I love love love the design, but for the price-point I do wish the color offerings were more fashionable--and proprietary instead of mass-produced PUL often seen used by WAHM brands.

I like it. It's kind of got an African feel.

I bought it . I like the mint chocolate colors. That said, three owlies & 3 safaris & 2 aliens is too much. I want more solid colors. I was excited about FireCracker. Also, Baby Safari (which I balked about back in December when it was released) is really cute in person. I have Cowies too which I disliked at first. We love it.

I think the owner looks for non-fading prints with thick/slick PUL which are harder to find. Look at the Oogas, Retro Cars & the giraffes. They fade big time. Bacon & Eggs is HTF in fabric form so of course they can't remake it. I don't know much abt the HotDogs except it is a fader too. They aren't Grovia or CottonBabies with specially made PUL designed just for them.

I don't like the print either, it's simply the same as couple months back. They start to repeat themselves, first with black and white safari and now owls :-( We are using soft bums full time and I kind of start to like them less and less... not even cute print to cheer me up...

I just started using Softbums and really like the Omni. Their adjustable elastic system is my favorite by far. I really wanted an owl print, so I am happy with this months calendar bum. But it would be nice to see some new prints
