Should I be concerned about the pressure I'm feeling?
For a couple days now I've been feeling a very uncomfortable pressure in me. In my vaginal area. It almost feels like the baby is literally kicking my cervix. I don't know what to think about it. I almost feel like when it happens I might burst or pee myself but it isn't a touching my bladder type feeling. I wish I could describe it better. I am concerned now because I lost a little bit of my mucous plug today. I heard this can be normal but it freaks me out now with the pressure I'm feeling. My MW has been asking if it is ok we start doing cervix checks at my appts because I keep having my babies earlier and earlier. The last baby I had was born at 35 weeks. I am 29 weeks tomorrow. I'll probably mention it at my next appt in 2 weeks but is it worth calling and mentioning earlier? I don't know if I should be worried or not. It feels weird but I don't want to make a big deal out of nothing.

Re: Should I be concerned about the pressure I'm feeling?
She works for you, you should always feel comfortable calling and bouncing a concern off on her even if it does prove to be nothing; that said, if you already have early babies, yes, I would want to call and chat and see what she says.
Hope it's nothing .

Re: Should I be concerned about the pressure I'm feeling?
hope it's nothing. but definitely call if you're concerned.
when this baby was still breech, it literally felt like a leg was about to pop out and the weird feelings I'd get in my cervix and lady bits were... weird. The baby must have been kicking just the right nerves to make twinges and such happen in places that the baby can't possibly have reached. Can you tell for sure that baby is head down at this point?

Re: Should I be concerned about the pressure I'm feeling?
That's a very common feeling from about halfway through pregnancy on.
With your history, I would definitely call. Also, any time your mama instinct is really wondering if something is off, trust it. |

Re: Should I be concerned about the pressure I'm feeling?
ive had the same feelings recently (twinges, feeling like the baby was IN my vagina, feeling that she was playing with my bladder somehow). i had similar feelings with baby #2 but not this bad.
like others have said i would call if you are concerned. good luck!

Re: Should I be concerned about the pressure I'm feeling?
I get that same sensation... I'll have just gone pee and then get a sudden urge as he nudges something down there... and then as quick as it came on, it's gone.
