Anybody foster-adopt in the Maricopa County/ Phoenix area?

We are looking into getting back into fostering with the intent to adopt and have never fostered in AZ before. We did foster-adopt almost 4 years in WI with every kid either going back to bio mom or to family members. Any advice about which agency to go with would be great too.

Because of space issues right now we will only be able to foster-adopt a boy 6 years old or under (although I would prefer a boy 6 months and under - not sure if we would ever get placed with a baby so young though).

Any advice/experiences would be wonderful!

I know of a couple people on other boards who have fostered in the Phoenix area. Supposedly really busy and very in need of foster homes.

I worked for 2 families who have foster-adopt a total of 7 children. All 2days-3yrs old at the time of placement (3xnewborns, 1-1yr old, 2x2yr old, and 1-3yr old.)
One family also fostered an additional 4 children under the age of 4 during the few years I was their nanny.
Both families were with A Place To Call Home.

I foster in the Phoenix area. You'd be surprised at the amount of infants available, so request it if you want that specific age! Let me know if I can help with anything

How exciting! We have some family friends that have fostered and adopted 7 kids and currently have 3 other fosters staying temporarily.

They have gotten babies 4 times -straight from the hospital
