People either love it or hate it. A lot of mamas have stink issues with it. I personally find best results with a mainstream detergent like Tide or Gain. Obviously if there are skin sensitivities that might not be an option.

I noticed from a quick glance at your profile you have CD'd before. What detergent did you like then?

this is good to know! Hard to trust website reviews. Anyone could be leaving them. I think I used All Free and Clear before, but I can't remember. That was just the detergent we used then. Now we are using the Honest Company detergent. I suppose I could try that.

I would start with what you use on your clothes then change if you have problems.

You'll probably be better off with the All F&C than the Honest Co. You want to avoid the plant oils.
But, I hate Rockin' Green. I had some seriously stinky diapers when I was using that. I had to soak and rewash so often that I caused a lot of damage to my diapers.

This is good to know! I didn't realize I should avoid plant oils with cloth diapers. It's been so long. I guess I'll need to get more all free and clear!

Re: Rockin' Green Cloth Diaper Laundry Detergent-

We used the Hard Rock formula for 2 years with my DS1 and loved it! We had really hard water and we never had any staining or stink issues. Now we are in a different state and dont have hard water and I am just using tide original powder because I ran out of RnG and was lazy. We love tide now too
