Red Raspberry Leaf Tea

I drank a big cup of it brewed with a Tea Ball infuser and I took 1 alfalfa capsule. First I had a headache and now I'm dizzy.... is this normal?

wouldn't be normal for me. Don't know if it is in the realm of normal for anyone else.

If you want to continue either thing, I'd do them seperately and see which, if either, thing contributed to your ailments. Then, if neither produced the same results, I'd see if it's a combination that does it. Or just a freak coincidence that you feel this way on the same day that you first tried these.

My '3rd trimester tea' has both RRL and alfalfa.. but loose tea is more potent and I'm sure the capsule contains more than what's in my tea.

Are you diabetic or have high blood sugar?

RRL can help lower blood sugar. So if your sugar was high and you brewed your tea a little too high you might be suffering from low blood sugar.

No diabetes. Always low blood pressure.

I'm hypoglycemic and have low blood pressure as well. I would guess it was either of those.
Headache. Dizzy. Light headedness would all make me think it would be either of those.

I totally agree about the blood sugar, I always have low blood pressure and low blood sugar. I drink my RRL with a muffin or cookie, something to help bring my blood sugar back up.

i have heard of that happening but it was hard to find out why online. Take it slow, use a weaker tea, and maybe start one without the other as well. I would def. take with food. I def. agree that it can affect your bp or blood sugar. May look into upping you natural salt/iodine levels as well. I have personally had those reactions and stopped taking it for quite awhile but now I drink as many cups and take as many pills as I crave or feel like it.

I used pre-made tea bags from a box today. Just one cup, no problems. I guess I'll just make it a little lighter next time!
