WWYD?

I bought fabric from a wahm off of here. Beloved WAHM,actually. She quoted me shipping & I asked her if she could send it in a flat rate envelope (shipping was high). Se tells me that the fabric was too thick to fit in one. So, I payed her twice as much as it would have cost for the flat rate. Today it shows up - in a flat rate envelope!

Any time you are unhappy with a purchase, your very first step should be clearly (and unemotionally) communicating your problem with your seller.

Maybe she was talking to 2 people and things got mixed up? Just tell her you would like the difference and go from there

No, she mentioned the specific fabric being too thick to fit in a flat rate. I'm super shocked, since she is so popular. I even second guessed that it was the same envelope, asked my teenagers to verify, etc because I was so surprised!

Can I ask why that was your first instinct? (I'm genuinely curious-WAHMs are not perfect people, we make mistakes and most of us would genuinely like to know to be able to fix the problem ).

Re: WWYD?

She may have had every intent to refund you after she did manage to get it in a FRE, but forgot. I would have just pmed and politely asked for the difference in a refund and see what she said.

So you haven't seen it in person yet, I assume? Are you sure it's not just a regular priority mailing envelope, not a bubble flat rate one?

to both! Unless it's blatant scamming(and even then people generally try to communicate first), it is ALWAYS good to talk to the seller first to seek resolution.
