Stillbirth at 38 weeks

I wanted to post for some support.
I am a first time mom who lost her baby girl 3 weeks ago to stillbirth at 38 weeks. We were so excited and now feel as if our dreams are crushed.
Dr's cannot find anything wrong with baby or me and my pregnancy was very healthy, so this came as a complete shock.
What I am struggling with as well is that my body is healing quite well and it seems to have gone back to it's pre-pg state, which feels very odd as I want to be pg again since I have so many good memories of it.
I know through reading some of the other posts that you can try again quickly, but after full term and labor, what is the recommended time? My dr did not give me a time recommendation as yet, I guess she will after the 6w PP visit.
We desperately realize we want to TTC as life is so precious.

Oh my heart aches for you, remember you can't replace her, let your mind not just your body come to grips with what happened. You can wait as early as 2 weeks. My family members have gone to 6week check up pg

So sorry for your loss mama. I can't even imagine the heartbreak. I agree with giving your mind time to heal too. Your body might be physically ready before you have finished saying goodbye to your sweet angel.
