Baking Pans
Let's talk baking pans like muffin pans, etc.
I need new ones, bad! I want something excellent in quality that I won't have to replace for a long while. I was looking into Williams-Sonoma gold touch series. Does anyone have these or any other recommendations? Advertisement

Re: Baking Pans
My mom has the goldtouch muffin pans. They are pretty nice. I suspect they will hold up well and over time, but that would necessitate never using metal tools around them because I can see them scratching.
I'm about to buy these http://cookware.lecreuset.com/cookwa...02_81145_26055 I can let you know how they hold up in a few years ![]()

Re: Baking Pans
I've got wilton muffin pans and they are holding up fine for me. I've had them 5+ years.

I love my Wilton ones. However...the dollar tree near me has some that are quite awesome. I have a huge supply of theirs and I've had them for 3-4 years so far. No discoloration, no problems...nothing. S I always recommend those as well.

I'm still shopping. To the pp who's mom has the gold touch, did she notice a major difference in comparison to other pans?

Re: Baking Pans
For the goldtouch, she replaced pans that were REALLY old. I seem to remember her telling me she got them as a wedding present (so, 1979). I don't know if that's the best comparison
![]() Since this thread, I have seen the box set in the store as an "open box" price of like $70-$75 so if you have an actual store near you, you may want to check.

I have a store local to me, and most the reviews seem pretty great. I think I may take the plunge if nothing else catches my attention.
