My dd is almost 19 months. I have been back to work since she was just about a year old, and pumping since then to give her milk to have at daycare. We are still going strong with nursing, and expect to nurse longer than I end up pumping. (DD1 nursed until past 2 and a half, but I only pumped until a little after a year and a half) But I am trying to decide it I should still keep pumping. She is eating well enough that she doesn't need breastmilk for nutrition. So I'm wondering how long others have pumped for.

i think if it's not a bother to you, you might as well pump. if it's a bother, stop. but you can always use your milk for cereal, cooking, etc for your baby as uit's way more nutritious than cow's milk

i pumped for my twins at work until they were 18 months old. i would have kept pumping but since i work night shift and they didn't nurse that much at night, i dind't have much of a supply to pump. sounds like your doing awesome!

DD2 is 10 months old and I am soooo sick of pumping at work! I'm about to stop soon, I think.

I pumped with my daughter until 10 months and we nursed until 1 year.

I have a 4 month old and pump 3x a day. I am determined to go just as long, if not a bit longer.

I pumped until DS was 18 or 19 months and he nursed until I weaned him at 27 months. He started slowing down on bottles and not taking as much milk during the day around 15 months.

I do not pump with Finn, but I pumped for 18 months for Quinn. I nursed him and pumped full time on the side for a donor baby. I stopped nursing at 9 months due to biting and exclusively pumped for both babies. I was done at 18 months as both were eating solid foods regularly and I had been on a gluten/dairy free diet long enough. I was ready to eat other things and try to lose weight.

My first 2 I was able to pump (I WOH) for 6 months with each before I was getting nothing or less than an ounce at each pumping session at work.

This babe is 6 months and is still BFing and I am still pumping and work and getting more than her daily needs. My goal is 1 yuear
