Virgin Coconut Oil Diaper Cream...Would you?
Hi mama's! I'm considering purchasing Virgin Coconut Oil from the Phillipines in bulk (it's only worth it if I buy in bulk). I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in buying the diaper cream ointment I make from it? It only has all natural ingredients such as arrow root, chamomile flower, and shea butter, just to name a few. It is quiet expensive, so I don't want to make such a purchase if I'm only going to use it myself. I haven't exactly decided on how I would price it or in the amount (ounces) I would package it (it would most likely be packaged for you in a glass container), but im just trying to get a feel for how many people, if any, would be interested.
Coconut oil*is very effective on its own for treating rash, as it is anti-fungal. Chamomile*has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-parasitic properties which are obviously helpful for diaper rashes.Shea Butter, has anti-fungal and yeast-killing properties when raw (as well as making skin extra smooth and soft**)
It is cloth diaper safe, but as with every cream, I would suggest using a liner or stripping the diaper after use.
I posted this in Diaper Chatter Q&A, so sorry if you're reading this twice.
