Re: What is your homeschool budget?

I thought I was going to get a break next year by saving hs receipts. Oh well! Our budget: Looks like about $350 for curriculum for the 5th and Ker and $500 to send DD1 back to parochial school. I don't count extra curriculars b/c I would spend that regardless of hs or not. (That and the amount would probably make me nauseous.)

Re: What is your homeschool budget?
I have two kids first grade and pre k/k so far I haven't spent that much this year the only cost I have are ink for my printer and paper (to print my curriculum books and work sheets i figure I need about 2 ink refills so im gonna say 60 bucks for ink and paper i get a teacher discount) so and pens and pencils markers and paint science experiment supply's about 30 bucks because the grandparents think homeschooling is cool and donate a lot of markers and craft stuff. we hit the zoo and the museum a lot but both are free where we live We get all our reading material free from the library and we take part in some of the free library activities that they have to offer. The girls will be learning guitar those lessons are free because daddy plays. They will hopefully be learning archery this year lesson will be free taught by mom and pop/aka grandpa. Cost of that will be about 60 bucks for the both of them since I need to get a kid size bow and some learning arrows. so about 160 bucks for the year give or take a smidgen

I wish they were here, sadly we were told that they aren't in our state.

Re: What is your homeschool budget?
We haven't really followed a budget up to this point but will start this coming school year. We are working on our budget right now and I have list going. We will spend more on swim lessons, dance, sports, camps, passes and the like then we will on the actual curriculum.

Re: What is your homeschool budget?
I don't have a set budget just for homeschooling supplies. But, we'll spend around $3K+ for all three kids next year. That number includes: curriculum, museum memberships/field trips, extra curriculars/coop/homeschool classes, paper/ink/craft supplies and educational games/toys.

Re: What is your homeschool budget?
We spent $750 on curriculum for 3 school aged kids for this coming year. I try to keep the whole years costs (paper, supplies, field trips) under $1000.

Re: What is your homeschool budget?
We spent around $1,000 for 4 kids this year. We are low income and we homeschool year round so we buy new curriculum with our tax return each year.
