savings bonds are tax except if you use them to pay for college. I'm not sure on the house if they would be tax except, I'd talk to a cpa before cashing them in.

plugging away here. the washing machine decided not to be broken (thank goodness). I have dr appt next week, I've been having high heart rates all the time. its been going on for a month now so its time to have it checked out (1 out of 4 EKG's 10 years ago showed that I skip every 3rd beat). The basement still isn't finished. I've been working an awful lot as of late. I do get most of next week off though.

I only have to claim them as income. I don't get penalized, like taking money from ira. I have to claim them as income even using, them for college. Since they won't ever be used for college I am good cashing them in. my dh or I won't go back to college and we don't pay our kids college at all.

Ugh....thats annoying. Every holiday my DH goes and spends $20 on a dozen roses. First off, I think flowers are a waste of money. Second, if he has to buy flowers.....buy me daisys or Lillie's, I dont like roses! I tell him this every single time a holiday comes around...but what does he do? He drops $20 on flowers every holiday. He told me that he feels like he "has" to buy me flowers, because good husbands/boyfriends buy their wives/girlfriends flowers. So because society tells you that it has to be done, you are willing to waste $100 a year (vday, mothers day, bday, sweetest day, christmas) on something I dont even like? I originally was nice about it...said thanks and shut my mouth, but this year I started just leaving them on the counter to die. He walks in with them, I say thanks and drop them on the counter. The next day when they are wilted, I throw them away. I just wish he would think about what *I* want and like, not what he *thinks* I should want / like.

I have my 1hr glucose test tomorrow. Yaaaay :/

AFM: I am seeing a psychiatrist soon, to talk about being medicated for Adult ADD. I have had ADD my whole life but have never been medicated before. Im hoping that the meds and visits wont be too much $$ but there will be a specialist copay and the med copay too. Im hoping to not go over $100 a month, but we have crappy insurance, so who knows!

bluecandi ~ Dh's main account is in charge of our credit cards,rent and the van payment when we had to make it.I think his plan is to take some of that money and start paying off 1 cc a month. We have like 6 credit cards if i didn't forget counting one. I plan to talk Dh into after we get a few of them paid of to then just close the account for them ,and just keep 1.

Got a bill in the mail today from Ashley Furniture with a balance of $0 whoo hoo! While at Marshall's today, returning crap I bought before starting DR, there was a lady in front of me who opened a CC ahhhh. I wanted to shake her and say NO DON'T DO IT!!!! I am a changed woman thanks DR and momma's for your support and help!!!!

ETA....lemme ask yall this. Dog needs her shots so I called her vet and they say an annual visit is $180. O.o

She really only needs the shots. Shes been on heartworm preventative for a year (she is 1.5)....I buy it from CL). I could take her to the low cost vax clinic....dont know what they charge but Im positive its less than 180. I would just get rabies only, but the thing is she has to have all of those shots when we board her next month.

For vaccinations we get them at $15 for each shot, its a home vet who opens his home 1 night a week for 2 hours and only gives basics, on a first come first serve basis (usually seen within 30 minutes of getting there). But I've seen lines out the door at vaccination clinics where the shots are $5 but the wait was 2 hours. Does she need her kennel cough too for the boarding?
