It is definitely overwhelming. I'm going into year 2 of hsing feeling WAY more confident in our curriculum choices. Does your dh work a lot or go to school? What grade is you son in?
Ambleside online requires a LOT of reading so it's time consuming in that. Miquon math ive heard/read is time consuming for the instructor. Singapore I've heard the same.

But, I picked everything after doing a ton of reading and finally feel confident and happy w the direction were going in, so the time factor is worth it.

If you need any insight or advise while figuring out what will work for you, post a thread! The mamas here are sooo helpful

DH works full time but he would like to help out two mornings a week (while I am in class) with HS'ing and our youngest son. My oldest will be in Grade 1 this fall.
