Do your kids like bananas?

I feel like my kids are the only ones on the planet who run screaming when I try to hand them a banana. They like all kinds of fruit so it's not that. It's just bananas. I always thought that bananas were a baby/toddler/young kid staple! I guess my kids just missed the memo.

Only ds1 does. I actually have to hide them or he would eat the whole bunch in a day. I'm the only other one who likes bananas in our house.

Yeah my kids love them. They go thru phases but the baby loves them, the toddler goes back and forth and the teens eat them like crazy

My boys will eat a whole bunch in a day. They love almost any fruit. They don't like grapefruit though.

Rory would not eat a banana if you paid him. He would starve himself first. All my other kids will eat their weight in them.

When DD was first starting solids she had a little too much banana and then nursed on top of it, and threw it ALL up. She didn't like bananas until she was 2 1/2 or so, but now she loves them.

With Eli, it depends on the day... some days he LOOOOVOES them, other days he completely snubs his nose to them

I hate them, DS will occasionally knaw on one but usually toss them on the floor. He's like that with most solids though (except for goat cheese, he inhales that stuff! ).

Of the 4 currently eating table food only my oldest likes them, and that's only a very rare occasion. Dd (2) will take a bite or two of mine every once in a while, maybe once every few months?
I keep saying my kids are broken because they just don't like some things that are obviously delicious! This coming from somebody who LOVES the smell of strawberries and will eat them dehydrated in cereal or in a muffin but will gag if I tried to eat a raw one.
