Do your kids like bananas?

DS1 won't touch them or anything that has bananas in it, including cake! DS2 loves them. We learned that DS1 is allergic to avocados and I've heard that avocado and banana allergies go hand in hand so I haven't really pushed him to eat them. They are so easy to grab when you're on the run so I do wish he'd eat them.

DS wouldn't eat them until he was well over 1, then he was crazy about them for a few months, since then he'll only eat them if he's really hungry.

DD will eat them but doesn't seem to love them.

I can't stand them, lol.

DD likes them.... sorta. sometimes... not really. They're probably one of her least favorites.

but, to be fair, she doesn't eat anything on the general list of 'toddler staples'.
Mac&cheese? nope.
chicken nuggets? not without bribing.
pizza? rarely.

raw bell peppers? by the bagfull

My dd used to hate bananas too (she loves all other fruits). Now she'll eat bananas too (she's 2 yrs old). Ds1 likes them.

My daughter sneaks into the freezer, opens up one of the red pepper bags from summer and grabs a freezing handful of pepper rings. I get irritated because then she leaves the bag open but it's actually pretty endearing.

My kids got the memo, OP. They eat 2 each every day and so do I. We literally have to buy 3 different big bunches in varying shades if we hope to make it through the week.

Tharen goes back and forth. Some days he isn't too crazy about them and others he loves them. He prefers them with peanut butter though. Kearnan will always eat bananas and apples. I like bananas but only if they are green and they upset my stomach so I don't eat them often.
