Re: Do your kids like bananas?
Avery HATES bananas!!! He would rather die-starve-be set on fire than eat one. That is usually the first solid I offer and he has hated them since day one of solid foods. He can sniff them out if I try to sneak him a sip of smoothie and recently turned down banana bread with nutella swirls.

Re: Do your kids like bananas?
My oldest likes them ok and always has. My middle child doesn't like them at all, he ate them a bit when he was really little, but they were never his go to food. My youngest would eat one for every meal and snack if I would let him.

Re: Do your kids like bananas?
My DD likes them, always has. My older son will eat them if he has to but will tell you he doesn't really like them. My toddler can't stand them. He thinks they're a good idea at first, but will take a bite and then spit it out.

DS loves bananas. He literally went through about a one yr period where that's ALL he wanted to eat. He would have total meltdowns at times when he had to eat something else.

Raw bell peppers are loved here too. By myself and the girls. Mmm.

Oh they will have them in smoothies though. They can't tell they are in there. They will eat freeze dried bananas and banana chips too. Just not a plain old banana! DH and I like them so I really don't get it!

Re: Do your kids like bananas?
I have 1 that doesn't really care for them unless baked in something, one that detests them, and one that loves them.

I like bananas ok. DH loves them and so do my girls. He gave both girls a whole banana yesterday at breakfast, and the 10 month old wolfed hers down except a tiny price that squirted out of her hand.
My mother won't touch a banana, but loves banana flavored things - I think it's a texture thing, she loathes mashed potatoes too. My father will only eat them when they're green. Dad used to work next door, so he'd buy a small bunch of green bananas, and if they ripened too fast for him, he'd drop the rest at my house.
