I am exploring getting the straight talk home phone device and was wondering how it works? Do you have to pay a monthly fee, or buy airtime?
Is it worth the 100$?
Would it be cheaper to just get a cheapo ST cell phone and have that instead of a "home phone"?
Any of the other carriers have something similar??

Im shopping this because I want something I can use in case of power outage or some other freak occurrence.

I saw this but we have their cell and home phone is magic jack, so no help here. But I love our magic jack
