My DS is two and is having a lull in PL interest. My Newbie is due any moment. And I find myself thinking, "I am just done with all this diaper laundry."
I loved CDing DS, but I am not having the same kind of fun I once was. Maybe I need some new fluff and hopefully a new tiny bottom will help make it all fun again. Anyone else go through a dry spell? (No pun intended! )

I have not, but I am super stoked to use my newborn fluff on a tiny bum. I'm sure that will be enough reignite your flame. Cloth diapering a toddler does get pretty repetitive.

Re: The bloom is off the rose. . . .
Toddler diapers can definitely get boring. Teeny tiny nb fluff is much more fun!

Re: The bloom is off the rose. . . .
tiny diapers are so much more fun than toddler diapers. but I hear ya on being sick of washing diapers. DS is about 6m past the age DD was when she pl'd & showing no signs of wanting to be out of diapers.

A new tiny bottom did make it enjoyable again for me! And we just use flats.

Re: The bloom is off the rose. . . .
As someone who CD my first two and my 3rd only until he was 6ish mo old - just know "the grass isn't really greener in sposie country"
![]() It doesn't matter if the diaper is cloth or plastic.... you still have to change it. And trust me, after cd'ing for so long you won't be letting your kiddo sit in a diaper for more than 2 hour no matter what your sposie using friends say about using a sposie for 6 So i went from diaper laundry to diaper trash. Everyday, all day i was taking diapers to the trash.... i cannot stand the smell of dirty sposies so out they went every.single.time. It was nice to use them out and about.... but meh. Cloth wasn't any "harder" than sposies... it's just different. Different problems/issues. Basically, diapering a human being for 2.5 plus years just stinks no matter what you are doing it with!!! ![]()

Re: The bloom is off the rose. . . .
Older toddlers make you yearn for the days that diaper laundry was fun.
Small, sweet, no rinsing poo and no stink. When my ds got to that age I found moving to something really easy to wash and switch made it all better. I went from fitteds and wool to trifolded pf's and covers.
