Arms Reach Original question
Hi Moms,
Are any of you using your Arms Reach Original for an extended period? I have the mini but my son is too big for it, but I'm still nursing at night and love having him close so I am considering buying the Original size off of CL. The product info says it can be use as a bassinet up to 30 lbs and playpen up to 50lbs. I am thinking of using this for awhile, perhaps buying a better mattress for it and using in the playpen module, but I'm hopeing for some feedback before I go ahead with it Does this sound feasible?

Re: Arms Reach Original question
I have the origional but have not used it yet - I do plan on using it an extended period of time... I am going to get a 4" foam thing to place under the mattress so I can just slide the little one over (instead of setting them down). I added a full size quilt that we were given for our wedding on top of the mattress to make it softer. I think you could get a better mattress - I heard the 'organic' arms reach mattress is softer but it is not in our budget
I am SO excited to nurse a little one without having them stay right.in.our.bed. the whole night and this is better then doing a side carried crib

.This is why I want to buy the larger one. I wish I thought of adding the foam underneath the mattress though, that seems much easier. |
