Are BGE soft if line dried?
Or is the cotton kinda stiff and crunchy? I would like to avoid using the dryer!

They get crunchy. I don't think there's a way to avoid it, especially with natural fibers. I sometimes put them in the dryer on low/no heat for 15 minutes after line drying to soften them up.

You can run them on low or even no heat for a few minutes after just to soften them up. Natural fibers really do get crunchy when line dried. It's unavoidable.

Re: Are BGE soft if line dried?
I think the new BGE if lined dried on a very windy day would be okay... But you would have to hang them so the wind will beat out the crunchiness

Re: Are BGE soft if line dried?
Crunchy and not soft. I have always used the dryer on mine and no holes, elastic is fine.

Crunchy! I dry on low in the winter, line dry until damp in the summer and toss in the dryer to finish them up.

Crunchy. We don't use a dryer for anything, so these two things are what I found helpful:
1. Add a half cup vinegar to the rinse cycle(acts as a natural fabric softener/gets rid of odors). 2. When I take them off the line I scrunch them up in a ball to get rid of the stiffness. Neither of these tricks makes them as soft as a dryer, but they're soft enough for us!
