Diaper Rite Flats
What size diaper rite flats does everyone use padfolded in the med setting on various covers? I'm trying to decide whether or not I should get more larges or stick with smalls...

Re: Diaper Rite Flats
I had larges and they worked well padfolded. I found that they were too small to snappi on my baby though (and still be absorbent without a doubler) so I sold them and now use large GMDs.

Re: Diaper Rite Flats
the dr larges work on the middle setting on my dr covers but there is some extra length, doesnt make it too bulky but it isnt a perfect fit, on the largest setting the larges are a perfect fit...i dont have any smalls at the moment but my guess is that they would fit perfect for middle and probably leave a little extra length on the small setting.

I think my large Diaper rites are ok padfolded in the medium rise but for trimness I really like my smaller flats like my LL's. I haven't ever had the dr smalls though so I can't compare.

Re: Diaper Rite Flats
I agree with the pp. the large dr flats will work in the medium setting but its super bulky and awkward.

Thanks! I have no smalls & the padfolded GMD orange edge prefolds are way too short so I need something to supplement!

I use large dr flats pad folded in flips on the smallest setting with no problems. I don't find it very bulky

Re: Diaper Rite Flats
My DR unbleached larges were about 12 in. long when padfolded; they work well on the small and medium setting of a flip. A little bulky, yes, but good absorbency and good coverage of the pul.
The small DR unbleached are only about 11 in when padfolded; very trim but the flipside is that it is narrow (more exposed pul) and less absorbent. They were great when dd was a nb but at 6 months it's just not enough of a diaper.
