It was the same morning.... Mom had me early in the morning, they brought all the babies out for 7 am feedings, she thought something looked odd, noticed a different dr name on the wristband and started looking.... She was holding a little boy, and she gave birth to a girl. Sad thing is all the footprints and hospital photos were of the wrong baby. They figured the boy and I were born approx the same time and after our baths we got put in the wrong bassinettes. Oops

I would think DS was switched at birth because he looks nothing like anyone in our family . The only reason I'm sure he is mine is because he was the only boy born while we were at the hospital. Dd on the other hand there is no question she belongs to us , she is a mini version of myself with a little mix of Dh.

Re: Switched at birth?

In all seriousness, your local health dept can do paternity and maternity tests. For DS, they tested to make sure he was both his mother's baby and his father's baby.

Ds2 screeches and yells all the time. I'm guessing there's some howler monkey or screech owl out there looking for their baby.

Mine DD says a VERY inappropriate phrase in Vietnamese. Constantly... We're dreading seeing our Vietnamese friends

Re: Switched at birth?

The nurse handed my sister to another mother when they brought them around to be fed. My mom knew it was her baby from across the room. The other mother realized right away too and said, "Hey, this isn't my baby!" My mother said it was the nasty nurse who carried the babies like a football and when my mom had her staples removed (c-section) told my mom that it "didn't hurt and to stop being a baby".
