Everyone says to use Tide Original...but

I thought that it wasn't made anymore? Are there THAT many people who stock piled it and are still using it, or can you still get it somewhere?

Maybe they mean the liquid version? That's what we switched to when the Ultra powder came out. Works just as well as the Original powder. I know quite a few people stockpiled but I would guess most are referring to liquid.

By 2014 they are completely changing the dtergent to get all the nasties out--so I read I will try to find the article. I wonder if that will effect its affectiveness or is it affect its effectiveness--sorry I can not think right now I a 36 weeks pregnant and cramping.

Re: Everyone says to use Tide Original...but

I believe "original" is the scent. Almost everyone using Tide is using the Ultra Tide now. I use the powder. I think most people compensated with the new formula by just using more. I have found that to be true.

Hmm I see.

Disclaimer.
Now these are the links I read and I do not want to start a debate or talk about this is biased or that is biased I am just posting links to what I have read that talk about what changes are happening and why that may be and wondering if the dergent would be as affective.

Can not find the actual article where they said they are making changes but I thought I remember reading it about 6 months ago I will keep looking

Re: Everyone says to use Tide Original...but

Original is not the scent. You can still buy Tide original formula in liquid in several scents at every store that sells Tide.

Original is the scent. I believe most Tide now is Ultra. It used to just be plain ol' Tide (no ultra).
