IUGR

So, online I read that it means growth restrictions and then one site says growth retardation - if your LO has IUGR does that mean they are just growing small or are going to be mentaly retarded? I hope that is not a dumb question... I just dont know and get worried!

"retardation" can also be applied to slow, so IUGR just means slow growth. Restriction and retardation can be used interchangeably in that regard.
