Jay Gordon method for night weaning

Has anyone had experience with this method of night weaning? I would love to hear any stories you have good or bad. I am planning to try it because I really want to break my 12 month old's nurse-to-sleep habit, and we also are TTC and I think this may help us alot.

TIA for any advice or opinions!

I did but only have vague memories now. I remember it not working when I tried when my son was 18 months (he wasn't ready at all) and then I vaguely remember it sort of working when he was older. I have posts on the topic from a couple of years ago I think. I need to read that article again b/c my youngest is 18 months now and I would like him to night wean too or at least nurse a bit less.

I tired it with my then 19 month Lo, and it worked for us. It took a month to be done with night nursing. And then it wasn't long after that she started STTN, at just over 20 months.
