Re: Washing machine suggestions

My FIL owns an appliance repair company and he said to never buy a front loader, that some of the new machines work more like a computer causing costly repairs where the more simple top loaders are inexpensive to maintain. I still want a front loader though for the ease of washing bulky things, but until I'm done cd'ing I def will keep my simple top loader because it really does get the job done.

My DH has a couple plumber friends who also said to never buy a FL but due to too little water used, mold issues and the fact that leaks are more common. We bought an HE TL so we could have the capacity and better efficiency, although they use a lot more water than FL. Ours also has an extra water

Oops!! Extra water feature which makes it more like a traditional TL. I love ours for clothes, linens, diapers, etc. I would definitely buy it all over again. It is the LG Wave series washer with the matching non-steam dryer.
