How do you know what size nursing bras to get before baby comes?

I'm looking at nursing bras and as they come on sale/clearance I want to buy them. How do you know what size to buy for nursing? I am a 34C non-nursing and as of now, in early pregnancy, my cups are running over already. How do I know what size I should look for or just buy a few different sizes?

I prefer to get tanks for early on. They're more comfy, and they usually just come in s/m/l type sizing, so it's easier to guess.

I'm told that the size you'll be doesn't settle until 6 weeks pp. Right now I'm in nursing tanks. Love love them!

I was a 34C pre kids. Now I'm on average 36DD/E while nursing and then they slowly decrease until I'm a 36D normally. That said, I agree with the others. Get some cotton tanks and/or sports bra types that you can use initially until you are at least 4-6 weeks postpartum and can see more of what your norm will be while nursing.

You don't know Buy only soft cups or tanks that fit a range of sizes before 6-8 weeks postpartum.

I didn't buy any until after baby came along. I bought the soft cups you can find at Walmart. I'm not big to begin with, though, so it was easier for me.

It is hard to know. But there are some brands that fit more than one size. Certain Bravado ones. I got a Medela one (I'll try to find a link) and though I range from 34B to 38C, an extra large works well . It's not a bra that I wear when I go somewhere but for hospital and around the house, I live in it.
This is NOT my listing, btw. just the easiest way for me to find it.

Yup. There's not a good way to predict what size you'll be. I wait til after engorgement is over to buy nursing bras

I totally agree with all the previous posters - you just can't predict what size you'll be, so it's better to wait. Nursing tanks are better, in my opinion, for the first few weeks anyways, since you'll be nursing so often. I wore a nursing tank with a cardigan almost every single day for the first few months of dd's life.
