Induction scheduled, 9 days to prep cervix, ideas?

DISCLAIMER: I don't care to debate about induction. I have medical reasons for an induction.

Other than sex and EPO, what, if anything did you do to prep your cervix for an impending induction? My induction is scheduled for 9 days from now with a membrane sweep in 7. I was checked in L and D the other day and was 1 cm and long and thick. I'm a multip (2 previous spontaneous births, both of which stalled, one required pit, the other a sweep of my membranes to get them to "go" again). There is a question of some scarring on my cervix from DD1 that was felt in my labor with DD2. Baby's head is well applied and at a 0 station and goes between LOA and ROA.

Where I realize that my cervix is not currently favorable for induction and bishop score is not favorable, I'm looking for suggestions.

I'm 37 weeks and 5 days right now. My induction is scheduled at 39 weeks exactly.

I don't usually recommend 5W b/c it's pretty strong stuff and I don't think it should be used routinely, but it may be helpful in your situation even if you don't have 5 weeks to take it.

I wish I had another suggestion, but I went in to labor TWICE because of sex, and not just from orgasming. The only way it happened was sperm to cervix contact.
