Microfiber inserts starting to stink :/

Is there a cure or should I just toss them? I tried stripping with RLR and rinsed with vinegar but it didn't work.

Re: Microfiber inserts starting to stink :/

I have only found that vinegar makes stink worse. Have you tried boiling them? What about doing an overnight soak with oxygen bleach or a detergent like RNG? Also, it if it is just microfiber inserts, people talk about using bleach. Sunning might also help. The good thing about microfiber inserts is that they can take all the abuse also, they aren't so pricey if you find that nothing works and you need to replace.

Chlorine bleach. You only need 1/4 cup in a full load. Might take a couple washes but that'll do the trick!

Sent from my phone. Please excuse typos.

Agree with the bleach. Boiling is also effective, but a pain in the tush, IME!

Also, you probably want to look at your wash routine to see if you can come up with something better. Once we started having trouble with the MF smelling I could resolve it with stripping, but it would come back quickly until I found a better wash routine. GL!
