Dry Nipples

I'm just over 16 wks pregnant and my nipples get really dry. I know they have already gone through lots if changes preparing for the baby but if I don't keep them constantly moisturized they become really dry. I have been putting Burt's Bee's lotion on them and I bought so e coconut oil because that's what I plan to use while nursing. Any other suggestions for a first time mom?

Lanolin I think is the spelling of what I use and it works great.

Re: Dry Nipples

Did you have a fav bra while pregnant? I've been using sports bras mostly and they are most comfy.

No, I just wore good quality, regular bras but they are a bigger size than my regular ones. I don't like sports bras, personally, as they don't provide as much support as I like.

Re: Dry Nipples

I'm having the same problem with this pregnancy and have been miserable for the past month! I just started using tea tree oil with coconut oil today and am praying it helps. Mine seem incredibly dry no matter what I use or how much water I drink. I'm praying you find relief!

Thank you for your prayers, praying for you as well dear. I started using coconut oil this afternoon and it seems to have helped somewhat.
