Did your belly shrink when baby dropped?

Baby has dropped so low. It's weird cos my stomach looks so different to me now. It also seems to be a lot smaller. I feel so much better though and have more energy. Back pain, stomach pain, indigestion, sick feeling, it's all gone, I even forget I'm pregnant. I don't even have bad pelvic pain. With my daughter it was my cervix that hurt, with this one it's more the inside of my legs. I'm always moving a lot with my daycare, stepping over gates, bending down, squatting and going for walks daily so I think that's really helped and maybe made the baby drop sooner. I hope it also makes him come a little sooner. With my daughter I was sitting a lot and not getting much excercise and I had a very long labour, hopefully this one is faster too. Anyway, I'm usually venting, it's nice to talk about how good I feel.

I didn't notice my belly being a different shape until labor. Once I was in transition I could tell.

I didn't feel a lot different, but with both my fundal height was around 37 cm at 40 and 41 weeks.

Same here. I do remember feeling a lot of pressure in my butt though, which was odd. My DS didn't get really low and fully engage until labor though.
