Anyone have the LadyComp?

http://www.lady-comp.com/en/
With any success? It costs an arm and a leg, but it is noninvasive and a natural way of family planning. Don't want my dh to get the vasectomy bc of possible future negative effects. I don't want to take anything hormonal or use an IUD. I also don't want to use condoms for the rest of our fertile lives. Pull out method seems too risky and I don't trust myself to do the traditional form of NFP. This seems to be the only good option. Yea? Nay?

My cousin uses one and loves it!!! I got a used one recently and loved the little bit I used it! However, due to finances need to sell it. It just needs a new thermometer, otherwise works great. PM if interested.

I have one and love it -- works wonderfully! It's never told me I was "green" when I wasn't. (I also chart separately in Excel, because I'm a complete nerd like that.)

Love it. Have only been using it for a year but has done the job well. Like it will ask me if I have started my period and since I'm still in bed when I take my temp I answer ,"No" and when I get up sure enough af has arrived.
I use it in my NFP arsenal. I am being extra cautious.

What about using it while nursing is it still accurate. My dr said that your body temp is off while nursing and could affect readings

Re: Anyone have the LadyComp?

I just read through their FAQ and they say that it's effective to use while nursing, even if you're getting up at night, once your periods have resumed.

This might be something to keep in mind. I've looked at NFP, but I don't think it would work so well for us. I've watched my CM, and honestly, I could say it looked "fertile" at least 50% of the time, and with irregular cycles, I think we'd never be "safe". I wish they weren't quite so expensive though!

Re: Anyone have the LadyComp?

I've been using one since August and I'm 11 weeks pregnant. Oops! I actually REALLY like it, BUT make sure you really pay attention to it. It told me I had already ovulated that particular month so when it started giving me more yellow and red lights in the same cycle I thought it was just crazy. Well, no, it WASN'T crazy. I recommend it but make sure you trust it!

So not sure what I should do before my periods resume it usually takes 7-9 months but I don't want an oops and don't really want anything hormonal
