It is okay to cry and it will be okay! Will she wear headbands? You could buy some cute ones for her till the hair is back.

I would probably be upset too, but I still think she looks super cute!

She is a obviously an adorable little girl! I would go get it done at a salon I think you will be please with it. Pixies are very in right now. As I am typing this, my looks like a salonified version of her haircut.

My DD just turned 3 and her hair looks just like your DD before the cut. I would definitely be upset if my DD cut her hair, too. It took so long just to get to her shoulders. It's ok to cry about it, mama! Your DD is so cute though, so she can definitely rock the haircut.

So her hair is too fine for any sort of rubberbands now. And clips slide right out of her hair. She won't wear headbands. I think I will take her to a salon tomorrow and see if they can even it up anymore and then just be thankful she has dresses for summer? Anyone have any styling tips? Ideas? Pics? What about clips that may stay in??

She is gorgeous luckily for her...so it doesn't matter what her hair looks like as she is still cute, lol.

My ODS did the same thing when he was 4.5y

Just looks like a little pixie short cut

Have you tried the tiny elastics over in the African American hair care section ? Dd has super fine hair and those are what we use and they work great! They come in all kinds of colors. I make hairbows and clips that stay in fine hair. PM me if your interested in any. She still looks adorable mama and her hair will grow back: hugs:

Re: DD cut her hair. Pics. Tell me it will be ok!

They sell those tiny elastics as Dollar Tree. We have the pastel package and it came with 300 elastics I think. They are ridiculously cheap!

Also, the grippy stuff that is on the inside of hair bows clips is just the grippy shelf liner like this. If you already have bows that won't stay in you could buy a roll of this really cheap at WalMart to make them grippier.
