Re: DD cut her hair. Pics. Tell me it will be ok!

Oh my word! Poor thing Kids will do that crazy stuff. I know it is an awful shock but I bet you will be surprised how fast it grows now and it will look much fuller. DD1 took ages to grow any hair to speak of. She looked just like your LO at that same age because that was all that grew

I think you did an awesome job!

My dd has had some crazy hair issues because of her treatments, you learn to get creative. Anyways our fool proof cute "I'm a girl" do is a jersey headband with a cute bow or flower (easy to make). It will grow back in no time and in the mean time she looks adorable!

She is still absolutely adorable!

And I "cut my own hair" when I was 4, to cover up the fact that I had gotten bubble gum (not allowed) in my hair. Somehow (LOL) mom figured it out. I am alive and not particularly scarred by the incident :-)

She is adorable!!! but seriously mama I know your pain. My nephew cut DD's hair and it devastated me. Her hair is super curly so even when it does grow it bounces up and has always been short. she is almost 6 and her hair is barely touching her shoulders now. I can sympathize with your pain ((hugs)). It does grow back but when everyone told me the same thing it didn't make me feel any better at the time.

i think you could have just done a short bob with a few layers blended in. im thinkn the 1st pic is after she cut it, and it barely looks like a big deal. easy to just trim the bottom 2 inches and the bangs another 1/4 inch

No, the first set of pics is before she cut. i didnt take pics rigt after she cut it....but she basically did the entire top and sides of her head. It was very short everywhere except the very back...and very random too....a few chunks long still, a few very short, ect. She butchered it pretty bad....i thought i would have to shave her head just to make it look ok seriously.

Re: DD cut her hair. Pics. Tell me it will be ok!

When my dd was 4 she cut her brother's hair so bad the only fix was a really tight shave and she cut a chunk off hers too in the back that was noticeable for a while. I was very upset when it happen so I totally understand how you feel. Her hair will grow faster now than in the past but I would be upset too because I was and I had a boy. The shock will wear off.

Your Dd is adorable. That sounds super upsetting for you.
I hope it grows back quick!

She looks great! I bet her hair will grow very quickly now. Ever since we got Gigi's hair cut into a pixie, it's been growing super fast.
