Carseat for Out of town Grandparents

I'm traveling back home to see my parents next month and I need to get a new carseat for my 4 yr old to use while we are there. I'm usually there 3 times a year so I want an inexpensive seat that I can leave there. DD1 is a very mature 4.5 yr old, 40 pounds and 43" with a long torso. At home we use a britax frontier harnessed. I would prefer to keep her harnessed a while longer but am willing to look into a high back booster with seat belt. What are the best, narrow (since we might need to do 3 carseats across the back seat), ones out there that would fit her for around $100?

Thanks!

I'm assuming that you are flying correct? In that case I would suggest buying a seat for your DD to use on the plane as well as at your parents. A harness seat will be more comfortable for your daughter as well as keep her safer during turbulence. The Harmony Defender is 99 at Walmart and would be a good choice. I read that someone found the Evenflo secure kid 300 for 99 so that's an option as well. You may need to google to find that price.

I'd get a Defender. $100 at Walmart.

Re: Carseat for Out of town Grandparents

Yes, we are flying. But I am flying with DD1 (4yrs old), DD2 (almost 3 yr old) and DD3 (14 months) all by myself. DD3 will be a lap child. So between trying to keep all of us together and a diaper bag with diapers, wipes, snacks and entertainment for all three I just can't bring a carseat on the plane. I already have 2 carseats in Dallas for the other 2 girls, I just need a new one for DD1.

I'll check out the Harmony Defender and the Evenflo Secure kid. Thanks.
