Dressing a winter newborn

How did you dress your winter newborn? I have had 3 winter newborns before but all wore disposable diapers. They all wore a onesie with socks under a sleeper. Usually light layers and I added a blanket as needed. I also didn't know about nice baby carriers so I just carried the babies in my arms. This time we will be using newborn aios and I already have a ring sling and I might buy a moby.
Will I need to dress the babies any differently?

I just have them wear sleepers until the weather turns.

Nope. Might have to size up sooner but it all works the same.

Nope. That's basically what my kids wore.

Nope, that's what I did. If I was going out, I'd put a little jacket on her, pop her in the mei tai, and zip an oversized jacket over both of us.

Long sleeves ,pants, sock and a hat. We would bundle her up with blankets if it was really cold. We live in Texas so it does not get horribly cold here.

Onezies and fleece sleepers. I had two November babies in tn, and we didn't have real heat. Just remember heavy coats shouldn't go in car seats.
