Different symptoms in different pregnancies?

I am 7w with our third; my first two pregnancies were relative cakewalks, at least as far as feeing good goes. No nausea or any real pesky symptoms. This time I am feeling nauseous several times a day, though it usually improves if I eat a couple of crackers or rest a bit. I'm so surprised by this since I had NONE of those feelings the first two times--has anyone else had a similar experience?! I know they say every pregnancy is different, but I guess I didn't believe it!

Re: Different symptoms in different pregnancies?

Yes. They really are different. My 1st, I was so incredibly sick...I could barely work even for the first 20 weeks. My second and this baby (5th pregnancy) I was barely sick at all. I think I threw up once with this baby and not at all with my 2nd. So bizarre, but it was a welcome difference for me!

I hope you feel better soon.

Oh, and for what its worth, all three of mine are girls, so I don't really believe that gender has anything to do with symptoms...although there are people who will swear it does.

My first two pregnancies were identical, my third has been the same with the exception I actually had morning sickness/ all day random heaving this pregnancy until about 16 weeks. But since then it's been the same as the last two.

All 3 of mine were different.

I wonder if your sugar levels are dipping a bit and that is why high carb crackesr helps with the nausea. Maybe try eating a bunch of small meals throughout the day rather than 3 big meals.

This is my third & most difficult pregnancy. I did pregnancy really well the first two times, except for crazy indigestion (didn't know what it was until my first pregnancy!!). This time no indigestion, but morning sickness for the first time ever...& it lasted until about 30 weeks. I'm also much more physically exhausted & just "done". Didn't have that feeling at all before. I'm starting to think that having babies really is a younger girls game!
