My mom told me this trick about a year ago and it is the best way to do bacon!

No more splatters! I did have one time where it must've kinda splattered in the oven and we got some smoke though.

I've been preheating our oven, so I will have to try your way next time

I keep hearing people do this and can't believe it's really as good as pan fried. maybe one of these days i will have to try it out.

I do this all the time on my stone ware because it seasons it so well. I even used my stone muffin pan to make bacon so now my muffins won't stick in the future.
